The class is designed to teach business and landscaping principles to help you and us in deciding if a vocation in landscaping is a good fit for you. We offer franchisees a proven system for success in all their operations. Save thousands. Be your own boss. Do it yourself. At the very least you will learn how to landscape your own home, and can use these principles in your personal life. Classes are offered quarterly on site in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Course Outline
- Day 1 - Promotion, Sales, Customer satisfaction, Quality at a reasonable price.
- Day 2 - Create a business plan. Landscaping preparation techniques.
- Day 3 - Pruning, Fertilizing, Soil testing, and Tilling. Income, Expenses, Profit.
- Day 4 - Annuals and Perennials. Plant identification. Watering and Irrigation.
- Day 5 - Mulch and Compost. Planting techniques. Berms and Curves. Knowledge test. Decision time! $2,000 to continue.
- Day 6 - Sun and Shade. Background plants. Make sales calls and Reports. Proposal/Contract form. Community service and Publicity.
- Day 7 - Review and Test, 80% is passing. Legal and Business aspects.
